In the past when i was still a lil kid
I used to anticipate the arrival of CNY
Salivating snacks, more angbaos, playing catching wif cousins
Most imptly, i could get those really cute clothings
That i had been pinning fer

As yrs went
I began to wonder what CNY was fer
Ya, i noe it's a traditional thingy
Reminds u of ur root, ur family
But, i dun look forward to it anymore

Now it becomes worst
I hate CNY
CNY deprived mi of the time i can hang around wif my frens
Those talks, those gossips, and maybi those lectures n tutorials
Instead i haf to bi thick-skinned and get angbaos from those relatives whom i barely seen and talk to and some i dun even recognise
Every new yr, yes every single one
I will sit in one corner in silence and look around here and there
While waiting fer my parents to finish mingling wif those aunties/uncles

I am getting sick of it
Why cant CNY be just one day?
I am suffocating.

CNY celebration today
Mj hired a lion dance troupe frm NUS
Wad the, the two lions were the WEAKEST lions i haf ever seen
No big actions or surprises but just constantly fidgeting around in one spot
As usual like last yr during my first 3 mths ther
Meridians ran off during the mid-finale item
On the whole, the items put up were not so bad
Was quite thrilled by the wushu team
They were damn zai larz

Went back to damai after that
Wif suting n kaili (she's frm tkgs btw)
Waited fer chun hian who's as usual late
Greeted ms koh and mrs chen
They were one of the few teachers i respected
Conversed fer some time
I felt we haf all grown up and the chat was kinda serious?

Off to bugis wif chun hian
Shd haf brought clothes to change
So weird la wearing sch uniform
I hate bugis village
Crowded, blasted wif loud noise/music, stuffy

Nxt stop was orchard
Caught Memoirs of A Geisha at cine
Wow, it's been a really long time since i last catch a movie
The show was not bad
But the male cast like super weird
I sympathised zhang ziyi fer letting those old wrinked folks to come near her

The bus was sooo cold

After being reprimanded by our dear ms poh
Fer not contributing to our class CNY deco
Mi n kl decided to return to sch at 3 plus
Despite the fact we were almost halfway home
All ms poh's fault lah
We reached the mrt station
Then we suddenly thot of her scoldings

When wif kl, all sorts of crazy ideas struck up out of the blue
Realised things can bi refined using stuffs like toilet paper
Initially wanted to use our ideas to transform the classroom totally
But that ms poh suddenly entered and said our ideas were crazy
To the extent it would destroy the classroom
We kept assuring the scared ms poh wif our sure-win ideas
Then she told us she regretted asking us to decorate the room
She apologised fer her mistake
Silly her, nah, we still continued wif our deco

Decorating the classroom really rawks
Esp wif a complete crazy retard
Who happened to bi like mi
Whoa!!

Super tiring but yet satisfying

Ex-05S323 reunion
This time was fer Bjorn's departure
Rich kid sia, go UK study
His current classmates were unbearable to depart him
Think all the gals cried
Sad but at least he will now noe the position he's in their hearts

Swim, Swam, Swum

Chem test was a disaster
Blanks werent that bad n scary
At least i gotta save some ink

Swimming today wif ch
It's been a long long time
Since i last immersed myself in the pool
Oh, first time swimming wif him
He lorz, always that conscious of his body
Even today he wore a damai pe short to swim
If it wasnt fer his so-called 1-inch flab

And those intructors who kept icing their students wif their jokes
Ch observed that those kids didnt laugh, not even a smile
He inferred that the instructors must haf repeat the same old jokes every swimming lesson

Yepz.
Finished Jewel in The Palace finally.
But i cant seem to quit the habit
Entire family gathered in front of the tv set
